Flamingo Fishing Guides 954-536-6646

The fishing at Flamingo is incredible and probably give anglers a chance of catch more species of fish than anywhere in Florida. Flamingo fishing guides work in Everglades National Park and is truly one of the last areas in Florida that is not populated. They target Redfish, Snook, Tarpon, Bonefish, Trout, Permit, Ladyfish, Sharks and many more. You can be trout fishing in Snake Creek, catching Redfish and Snook around Frank, Murray and Palm Keys, working the mangroves of the Shark Rivers, chumming up Spanish Mackerel at Sprigger Bank or find yourself hunting massive Tarpon in Whitewater Bay…The fishing options are endless.
Flamingo can also be reached by crossing Florida bay from both Key Largo and Islamorada. It takes about 30-40 minutes but it is well worth it. Tournament winning guides like Brian Gwilliam and Jim Hale on the Florida Native Charters team, have been making this cross and putting anglers on fish for years.
The labyrinth of creeks, and fishing spots found in The Everglades and Flamingo are some of the only untouched fishing areas in Florida and it takes knowledgeable guides to get you there. It is quite common to fish neat crooks and crannies that not many people know about allowing you to fish all day rarely seeing another angler if at all. It is just you and old Florida nature and you may see White Pelicans, Flamingos, Crocodiles, Alligators, Dolphins, Manatee, Indian Mounds as well as exotic plants and flowers. It can be an incredible experience to fish Flamingo and one that will stay in the memory bank for a lifetime.
The most popular method of fishing the Flamingo backcountry is with light tackle or fly rod. You can use spinning or bait casting rods that are provided by your guide. Call Tom for an experienced guide that knows where to go, what bait to use, and what tackle and equipment is needed.
